Kevin Novack grew up in the wine rich ambiance of Portland, Oregon. While attending Whitman College Kevin’s interest in wine grew as he became more involved in the Walla Walla wine community. Following graduation, Kevin took an overflow bar in the Avalon Grill and developed a wine bar which eventually served over thirty wines by the glass. Later he moved to London to complete a Master's of Science degree in Shipping, International Commodity Trade and Corporate Finance. While in Europe, Kevin’s main pursuit was to travel through French, Italian and Spanish wine country, gleaning valuable knowledge of the wines of those famous regions. After completion of his Master's degree, Kevin decided to return where his heart had always been, the Pacific Northwest. It was in Seattle that Kevin’s rich experience and vast knowledge crystallized into the possibility of wine consulting. During his time in Seattle, Mr. Novack did consulting for many top companies in the area, including ninety percent of the private aircraft companies flying out of Boeing. After several auspicious years of consulting in the Emerald City, Kevin relocated to Portland with the intent to start D'Vine Distribution.
